7. Finishing & Patina Application
The raw bronze casting undergoes a series of finishing processes. This includes trimming any excess metal, grinding, and polishing to achieve a smooth and refined surface. Next, a chemical patina is applied to the plaque. This controlled oxidation process gives the bronze its rich, classic color and enhances the readability of the raised elements. The patina can be customized to achieve various shades, from a deep brown to an antique green, depending on your preference.
